Virginia Albers is a trial lawyer who exclusively focuses her practice on family law matters. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Nebraska State Bar Foundation.

Ms. Albers was named the “Lawyer of the Year” for Family Law in Omaha by Best Lawyers® for 2011, 2014, and 2018. She is experienced in all aspects of matrimonial law including premarital agreements, custody and business valuations.

Ms. Albers serves on the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Bar Foundation and the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Ms. Albers graduated from Drake University in 1980 and graduated cum laude from Creighton Law School in 1994. In law school, she was the Associate Editor of the Creighton Law Review. After law school, Ms. Albers served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable David J. Lanphier of the Supreme Court of Nebraska.
