Hannah C. Sommers joined the firm in 2013 and concentrates her practice in the area of family law. She focuses her law practice exclusively on high conflict marital dissolution actions, custody disputes, and the identification and division of complex marital assets. She has represented clients in dozens of trials and hearings in the Omaha metropolitan area, including Douglas and Sarpy County, and has successfully argued before the Nebraska Court of Appeals. Mrs. Sommers is listed as a Great Plains Rising Star by SuperLawyers® for 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Mrs. Sommers received her Bachelor of Journalism, cum laude, from the University of Missouri in 2008, and received her Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law in 2013. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mrs. Sommers was a television producer, reporter, and news anchor in Columbia, Missouri and Topeka, Kansas.
She is licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska. She is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, and she is an active participant in the Young Lawyers Division of the Omaha Bar Association. She is a graduate of the 2014 and 2016 American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Institute for Family Law Associates.
